six practices

How I work with people.

↘ What I offer

Strategic advisory for the modern media economy. I take on a small number of engagements each year.

01

Strategic Partnerships

Fifteen years of closing them, including nine-figure deals across streaming, mobile, and connected TV.

expertise

Partnership strategy

Which partners actually move the number, in what order, and what each deal has to contain to be worth signing.

Deal structuring

Terms, economics, and negotiation, from first conversation to signature.

Distribution partnerships

Platform, OEM, and channel deals that put your product where the audience already is.

02

Growth & Revenue

Building new monetization channels where none existed. At Skillshare, emerging product revenue grew 475%.

expertise

Revenue diversification

New revenue lines beyond the one you currently depend on, sized and sequenced.

Licensing & syndication

Turning a content catalog into recurring income across territories and platforms.

Pricing & packaging

Subscription, advertising, and hybrid models, and the tradeoffs between them.

03

CTV, Mobile & Platforms

The plumbing of how content reaches people, and who gets paid along the way.

expertise

App distribution

Getting placed, promoted, and paid on the platforms that control discovery.

Connected TV strategy

FAST channels, smart TV placement, and the economics underneath both.

Device partnerships

OEM and carrier relationships, from first pitch through launch.

04

AI Strategy & Implementation

Not an AI strategy deck. Where it genuinely removes work from your team, where it doesn't yet, and how to tell the difference before you spend money.

expertise

Workflow audit

Where the time actually goes, and which parts a machine can take.

Tooling & rollout

Choosing what to use, standing it up, and getting people to actually adopt it.

Automation design

Data pipelines and repeatable processes that run without you in the loop.

05

International Expansion

Five countries, six cities, and a working assumption that global is local.

expertise

Market entry

Where to go next, in what order, and what it costs to be wrong.

Local partnerships

Finding and vetting the people on the ground who make a market work.

Regional go-to-market

Pricing, positioning, and operations adapted to a market, not translated into it.

06

Content Production Economics

Incentives, film commissions, and the ecosystems that decide where work goes.

expertise

Incentives

Which jurisdictions actually pay, what qualifies, and when the money really lands.

Jurisdiction strategy

Where a project should be made, weighed against budget, schedule, and crew depth.

Film commission relationships

Who to know on the ground, and what they need from you in order to help.

my approach

How i work →

Strategy rarely fails because the thinking was wrong. It fails at the handoff. I stay close to the work, and measure success by what changed, not what I put in the deck.

01 — undivided attention

I take on a handful of engagements a year. That's what makes it possible to be properly present for the ones I do.

02 — sprints not sprawl

Work runs as a sprint: a question, a start, and a finish. Long enough to change something, short enough that scope never creeps.

03 — built for autonomy

The output is something your team can run without me. I'd rather be useful than necessary.

How engagements work

Three ways to work together.

Most work is scoped to a question and a finish date. The shape depends on how much is unresolved when we start.

Sprint

Small scope, fast answers.

No ramp up, no discovery phase. One or two defined questions and a clear output at the end. A market read, a partnership plan, a pricing model, or a decision you have been circling for months.

2 – 4 weeks

Engagement

Several moving parts, one plan.

Where the practices overlap. Work that spans more than one practice at once: partnerships and revenue, market entry and pricing, distribution and platform economics. The connections are the hard part, and they take time to get right.

6 – 12 weeks

Advisory

For the decisions that keep coming.

A sounding board, not a project. A standing call each month and a text thread in between, so you get senior input on decisions as they arrive without scoping something new around each one.
